European People's Party - the conservative group in the European Parliament

Responsibility comes with power. With 74 members from 39 countries, 19 heads of government, 9 commissioners including the president, and the largest group in parliament with 265 members, the EPP is an important political force that wants to see itself as the new 'engine' of Europe. In the words of Joseph Daul, Chairman of the European People's Party (EPP) in the European Parliament, the EPP is "the driving force of Europe".

With his comfortable victory in the European elections the European People's Party (EPP) is now seeking to win the battle of ideas. Indeed, centre-right MEPs know that if they want to extend their term of office, they first need to bring in new ideas.

Between July 1 and November 10, the big winner is the EPP with 136 reports followed distantly by S & D with 98 reports.
